Lynchburg Parks and Recreation
Water fountains
Drinking fountains, which are essential for people walking around the city, typically are shut off in October so the pipes are not destroyed in freezing temperatures. Unsure about when they are typically turned on in the spring. At least one fountain downtown is freeze-proof.
