======2025-03-17 Livable Lynchburg Meeting Notes====== 

    - LYH multi-modal plan is having a meeting on March 27 10a in the Bank of the James building. Discussion is moderated by the consultants running the meeting.
   - Discuss city council meetings, we should be more informed about whats going on. 
   - Strong Towns says that we should attend the meetings and be more involved and talk about the things we are passionate about. This would be a great outing for the group, attend a council meeting talk to people
    - Strong Sac Towns is the Sacramento Strong Towns Chapter. They are the best and have a very clear website
    - Perhaps we should refine our values/priorities
    - Regarding parking reform, we have a lot of data but we haven't really done anything. Mentioned that developers broadly don't care about parking requirements because they assume that parking is necessary but sidewalks aren't
    - Decided reinstate parking as one of two priorities
    - Removing transit priority, as we are focusing on too many things
    - Other priority will be fully connecting the roads
    - Discussion about OSM (openstreetmap) and how we can do CSER service events around improving map for bike routing
    - SacStrongTowns has a very nice events page
    - We should embed a calendar in the website and have social media buttons
    - Add a way to subscribe to the email list from the website
