The company that has a state-granted monopoly on providing electricity and street lamps in Lynchburg, Virginia and beyond.

=====Staffing=====

Based on a conversation with a lineman on 2024-02-28, APCO has just 15 linemen serving Lynchburg and Lovingston areas. They are also under a hiring freeze for linemen. The aforementioned lineman said they are seriously understaffed for the amount of work they need to do.

According to an employee named Chris, there is one lineman that repairs streetlights in the Lynchburg and Roanoke areas. He works at night.

In 2024 met a lineman named Daniel doing streetlight work in Lynchburg.

In 2025-03 talked on phone with lineman Jacob Jackson in Roanoke who may do some streetlight work in Lynchburg.
